Dr. Meg Jay is a narrative, non-fiction writer whose experience as a clinical psychologist imbues her books with a “behind-closed-doors” look at the lives of typical twenty-somethings and people who have experienced significant childhood adversity. Dr. Jay came to Good Soil to make sure that she got not only a great looking, contemporary website, but also a strategic brand positioning that would separate her from the plethora of Google scholars pumping out less authentic work.
THE STRATEGY
Good Soil developed a unique positioning around Jay’s “behind-closed-doors” experience, and designed a signature visual to help effectively communicate this point of difference as soon as users entered her site. The rest of the site leverages a scrolling homepage, modular content block media section, and parallax images to create a slick, contemporary look.
